Some of our projects focused on Dermatology

Wound Healing Cream Research based on the development of an innovative formula in order to reduce abnormal processes in wound healing which may cause hypertrophic morphological structural changes.
Pharmacogenomics in Clinical Dermatology Genetic testing based on the detection of polymorphisms related to the metabolism of the most commonly prescribed drugs used in the 10 most relevant clinical dermatological conditions, such as psoriasis, acne, dermatitis, rosacea, among others, in order to provide the patient with an accurate, safe, and effective treatment.
Epigenetics in Cosmetic Dermatology This assay detects the skin’s current physiological state through epigenetic markers/factors related to aging (photoaging, antioxidant capacity, and firmness/elasticity) and skin quality (moisture retention, regenerative capacity, and pigmentation), parameters that are affected by a patient’s environment and lifestyle.

Diabetes Genetic testing based on the detection of SNPs related to Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 (DM2) in order to classify the patient in the DM2 subtypes, and determine the prognosis and accurate treatment options. Said testing considers environmental and lifestyle factors, clinical diagnosis, and genetic testing.
Tadalafil Protocol Multicentric research protocol that studies new means of topical administration for secondary erectile dysfunction in search of a higher safety and clinical effectiveness profile over current treatments.
Recombinant proteins This protocol studies the recombinant proteins production of pharmaceutical interest through biotechnological processes in order to provide a therapeutic alternative to treat difficult injuries and wounds
Antimicrobials Research focusing on the identification of new compounds with antimicrobial activity against resistant microorganisms of great clinical interest. This project was created due to a worldwide need for new therapeutic options aimed at patients with infections resistant to conventional treatments.
